Manufacturing Engineering
Co-Op - Battery Module
at Rivian
In the first half of this co-op I was responsible for leading projects to make the potting areas of the battery module manufacturing lines, cleaner, safer, and easier to maintenance. My projects also introduced new safety features and redundancies.
In the second half of the co-op I have been responsible for designing fixtures and tooling to increase the speed of new module manufacturing to be used for testing and validation. Most notably I was responsible for designing and implementing changes to retrofit a welder to allow for automation of module welding.
April 2023 - May 2024
Engineering Intern at
Tompkins Robotics
My former internship with Tompkins Robotics taught me a lot about the robotics industry in addition to problem solving strategies to meet client needs. I have had the opportunity to use AutoCAD Architecture to design and render 3D models and layouts of robotics systems for clients as well as manipulate product models to create custom parts to satisfy particular client needs. I also built accompanying simulations using Tompkins Robotics’ in house software to ensure system production rates. Finally, I wrote and edited reference documentation which explains how to perform the duties of Tompkins Robotics’
